6. Pricing & Payment

FitnessCoach is currently free to use for all core features. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If we do:

  • We will provide at least 30 days' notice before charging existing users
  • Core fitness tracking features will remain free or have a free tier option
  • You may cancel your account at any time to avoid charges

If paid plans are introduced, payments will be processed through a secure third-party provider. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

7. Your Data & Content

You retain all rights to the data you create in FitnessCoach (workouts, progress data, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your data to provide the Service
  • Send notifications and reminders on your behalf
  • Back up your data for security and recovery purposes

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you upload. You represent that:

  • You have the right to use and share the data you upload
  • Your use of the Service complies with applicable laws
  • You will not use the Service to infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights

8. Notifications

FitnessCoach may send you notifications about your workouts, progress, and account. By using this feature, you agree that:

  • We may send you notifications based on your preferences
  • You can manage your notification settings at any time
  • We will not use notifications for spam or abusive messages

We reserve the right to suspend notifications if we detect abuse or violations.

9. Data Security & Backups

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password secure
  • Backing up critical data independently if desired
  • Monitoring your account for unauthorized activity

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access to the Service will be terminated
  • Your data will be deleted within 90 days (unless legally required to retain it)
  • We recommend exporting your data before cancellation

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

FitnessCoach is not a substitute for professional medical or fitness advice. We are not responsible for:

  • Injuries resulting from following workout recommendations
  • Medical conditions that may be affected by exercise
  • Accuracy of fitness tracking data

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FITNESSCOACH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR REVENUE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (currently £0 for free accounts).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FitnessCoach harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of third-party rights

14. Governing Law
