What is FitnessCoach?

FitnessCoach is an AI-powered personal training companion for strength training and fitness. Track workouts, monitor progress, get smart weight suggestions, and achieve your fitness goals — all in one app.

Is it really free?

Yes! FitnessCoach is free to get started with full access to core features like workout logging, exercise library, basic progress tracking, and personal records. No credit card required.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes! FitnessCoach is designed mobile-first for use in the gym. It works great on your phone, tablet, or desktop browser. Install it as a PWA for a native-like experience.

AI & Smart Features

How does the AI suggest weights?

Our AI analyzes your recent performance, training history, and recovery patterns to suggest appropriate weights for each exercise. It learns from your actual results and adjusts recommendations over time.

How does fatigue monitoring work?

We track your training volume, intensity, and frequency over time. If we detect signs of accumulated fatigue, we'll suggest a deload week to help you recover and come back stronger.

What is progressive overload?

Progressive overload means gradually increasing the demands on your muscles over time. FitnessCoach tracks your progress and suggests when to add weight or reps to keep you progressing.

Workout Tracking

What types of workouts can I track?

FitnessCoach supports all types of resistance training — powerlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, calisthenics, and more. You can track any exercise with sets, reps, weight, time, or distance.

How do 1RM estimates work?

We use established formulas (Epley, Brzycki) to estimate your one-rep max based on your working sets. You can see your estimated 1RM for all lifts without actually testing your max.

How do rest timers work?

Set your preferred rest time for each exercise. The timer starts automatically after you log a set, and you can enable auto-advance to move to the next exercise when rest is complete.

What's RPE and how do I use it?

RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) is a scale from 1-10 measuring how hard a set felt. Logging RPE helps the AI understand your performance and make better recommendations.

Programs & Planning

Can I create custom workout programs?

Yes! You can build custom programs from scratch or modify our proven templates. Set up your weekly split, choose exercises, and define progression schemes.

What workout templates are available?

We offer popular programs like Push/Pull/Legs, Upper/Lower splits, 5/3/1, Starting Strength, and more. All templates can be customized to fit your needs and equipment.

Progress & Analytics

Can I track body measurements and photos?

Yes! Log body measurements like weight, body fat, arm size, etc. You can also take progress photos to create a visual timeline of your transformation.

Can I export my data?

Absolutely. You can export your workout history, personal records, and analytics to CSV or PDF for your records or to share with a coach.

Technical

Does it work offline?

Yes! FitnessCoach works offline so you can log workouts even without internet. Your data syncs automatically when you're back online.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted and stored securely. We never share your information with third parties. You own your data.
